This is a repair and return service we offer for GM DS 6.5L Fuel Injection Pump. These pumps will go through a thorough remanufacturing process and are reassembled to OE specifications. Components are completely cleaned, inspected, and tested. Worn or damaged components are replaced with new to ensure maximum quality and longevity. All of our remanufactured 6.5L pumps include a brand new Flight Systems PMD and wiring harness. These PMD's have been reengineered to be more reliable than previous Stanadyne models. Pumps are also quality inspected and tested to OE specifications to ensure that your vehicle gets back on the road as soon as possible.
The encoder sensors are 100% reworked due to the age of the vehicle population and core. This rework addresses cold solder joints that cause latent or intermittent failures. A stand-alone test is then performed on each encoder, ensuring a signal quality above the industry standard. It is also tested after full assembly.
There is no charge for any units deemed unrepairable, we do however use the scrap from these units to help cover the fallout, therefore any unrepairable core will not be sent back to you. If additional core is not sent to cover fallout, we will reduce your order quantity by the number of unrepairable units and notify you as such.
The standard lead time is 30-45 days after receipt of core for an average sized order, 10 units would be considered an average size order in this case. Lead times may change if orders are sufficiently smaller or larger. Quantities of less than 10 are not recommended due to the high fallout rate of these pumps. All repair and return units take priority thus reducing the lead time in comparison to a standard part order.

*WE RECOMMEND ANY CORE SENT BE IN "OFF ENGINE CONDITION" *
We do not charge for red tags (unrepairable core) but we do use the scrap from these to help cover the fallout. If you do not send additional core to cover fallout, we will reduce your order number by the number of red tags and notify you once we have rebuilt all the remaining good core. Therefore any core deemed not repairable will NOT be sent back to you.
